How to Delete Transactions

The steps required to delete one or all transactions in AccountsPrep.

You can delete one or all of your transactions from an account in AccountsPrep.


How to Delete a Single Transaction

  1. Go to Banks > Bank Reconciliation and select the bank account.

  2. Select the relevant link to posted or unposted data.

  3. Click the relevant batch and click Edit.

  4. Click the small red 'x' icon next to the transaction to delete it.

  5. The transaction is crossed out, click Delete to confirm or Restore to cancel.


How to Delete an entire batch

You can also delete all transactions from a batch.

  1. Go to Accounting > All Batches.

  2. Select the relevant tab (Posted/Unposted/Draft) to locate the transactions.

  3. Click Permanently Delete.
