You can use the AutoEntry mobile app to upload invoices and receipts to your AutoEntry company directly from your phone.
You can either use the app to take a photo of the document, or you can select existing images from your phone's photo library.
Upload a document
Log in to the app.
At the bottom confirm which company you want to upload the document for, and for which inbox. For example, Purchases, Sales, or Expenses.
If you need to change the company and inbox, tap on the dropdown arrow next to Purchases. You can then select a different company and/or a different folder.
Tap Add a Receipt.
You can either:
Take a photo of the documents in the app to upload
Select images from your photo gallery to upload
If you take or select multiple photos, choose to upload them as separate documents or combine them into one.
📌TIP: Typically, you use the 'One document' option if an invoice has multiple pages and is considered the same document.
If you select One document, you can add other details such as a description, select relevant categories, departments, codes, etc.
📎NOTE: If you select Separate documents you won't have the rep options, because they may differ. You can add these details to them later on the AutoEntry website.
Review the image before you submit it.
Remove an image - Tap Remove if there's an image you no longer want to include in your upload
Edit an image - Tap Modify, then Edit to crop or rotate your image
Replace an image - Tap Replace to retake a photo of a document
📎NOTE: The Replace option is only available if you took photos of the documents using the mobile app,
Tap Submit to upload it to your AutoEntry company.
Next steps
After you submit and upload the document, you see a Submission Progress bar.
After this progress bar completes, you can see the uploaded documents on your Upload Activity. Here you can see their processing status, such as whether they're still processing or whether they've been processed or rejected.
Once done they appear in your company on the AutoEntry website. You can see which documents have been uploaded via the mobile app.
