The Company Setup page in your AccountsPrep settings is where you can make changes to selections you made initially during the company setup in AccountsPrep. For example, you selected the company to be Non-Tax Registered, but it needs to be Tax Registered.
📎NOTE: You can't make changes if any data has been uploaded or entered into AccountsPrep. Even if data has been deleted.
To get to this page:
Select Settings.
Select Company Setup.
On this page, you can configure the following:
Chart of Accounts

If you have access to AccountsPrep templates you can view and edit the chart of accounts template that is currently in use for that company.
Select View templates.
This opens your AccountsPrep Templates
Tax Settings
Tax Settings
You can select or deselect whether the company is not tax-registered.
Select Save to save these changes.

If you’ve made errors during the setup or would find it easier to start over again you can completely reset AccountsPrep and start again.

There’s no charge for the number of AutoEntry companies you integrate with AccountsPrep. So if you want to reset a company after data has been processed, you could create a new company (temporarily with a slightly different name). You can then connect this company to AccountsPrep, then set up the AccountsPrep company again.
