Pausing your subscription allows you to put your monthly charge on hold for a small fee per month. You still retain access to the features.
What does it mean to pause a subscription
Charges and Fees
Pausing your subscription reduces the standard subscription charge to a small monthly maintenance fee of £3.6 (inclusive of VAT). This fee ensures that you can still access your account functionality. (This price is liable to change)
Billing
All account information, including saved billing details, will be preserved, so you do not need to re-enter payment details when you resume your subscription.
You can pause your subscription as long as you need.
Credits
When your subscription is paused, no new credits will be added to your account.
Unused credits will remain available but will expire after 90 days if not used.
If you use credits during the paused period, they are deducted as normal.
You can use existing credits during the paused period (e.g., uploading invoices), but any submissions exceeding your credit balance will be placed on hold until you purchase additional credits after resuming.
Functionality and Data Access
You will retain access to all your data, including previous uploads and reports, during the pause. Features such as uploading and publishing invoices will still be accessible.
Publishing invoices: This functionality remains available without restrictions during the pause.
File uploads: As long as credits are available, uploads can continue as normal.
📎NOTE: Before July 2025, pausing your subscription meant the credits didn't expire. The terms and conditions have changed. Anyone who paused the subscription before the change have until 30 September 2025 to use up their credits. After this, any credits older than 90 days will expire.
This will not affect Canadian Customers.
How to pause a subscription
Click Settings on the left-hand navigation bar.
On the Subscription and Billing tab, select Pause Subscription.
Read over the details, and click Confirm.
Subscription reactivation
If you wish to resume your subscription after pausing:
Navigate back to the Settings → Billing and Subscriptions section.
Select 'Unpause' and resume your subscription. This will restore your ability to purchase new credits.
📎NOTE: For customers on fixed-price subscription plans (legacy users): Pausing or disabling a fixed-price subscription is generally not possible. If your fixed-price subscription is deactivated, it cannot be reactivated, as this plan type has been discontinued for new customers.
