The Sage 50 UK&I integration has now been improved with the following features:

1) Ability to mark invoices as paid

2) Projects and Cost Codes now separated into individual fields

3) Custom names for the 'Department' field will now sync from Sage 50 UK&I

4) 'Charitable Fund' codes now available for Sage 50 UK&I companies set up as charities

In order to receive these updates, please re-sync your Sage 50 UK&I data:

1) Ability to mark invoices as paid

You can now mark your purchase invoices as paid - see general help article for 'Mark as Paid' here. For Sage 50 UK&I, it will only be possible to mark invoices as fully-paid (not part-paid).

The resulting transactions in Sage 50 UK&I will be:

a) a Purchase Invoice (as normal - DR Expense/Liability, CR Accounts Payable)

b) a Purchase Payment for that same Purchase Invoice (DR Accounts Payable, CR Payment Account)

2) Projects and Cost Codes now separated into individual fields

Projects and Cost Codes for Purchase invoices had previously been combined into a single code "Cost Code" in AutoEntry - these codes will now display and can be managed separately (e.g. in the inbox and single invoice views).

Also note that the label previously displayed for a Project in AutoEntry was the 'Project Description' given to that Project in Sage 50 UK&I (or if it was blank, the 'Project Code'). This has been improved so that the Project's 'Project Name' in Sage 50 UK&I will now sync by default (or if there isn't a name, the 'Project Code').

3) Custom names for the 'Department' field will now sync from Sage 50 UK&I

Sage 50 UK&I allows you to rename the 'Department' field to a custom name (e.g. "Team", "Channel" etc) - this custom name will now sync into AutoEntry.

4) 'Charitable Funds' codes for Sage 50 UK&I companies set up as charities

Sage 50 UK&I gives companies set up as the 'Charity' Business Type an additional (fourth) code - 'Charitable Fund' (can be applied to both Sales and Purchases). When integrating with a Sage 50 UK&I charity company, this new code will replace the 'Department' code by default, and will then be available in the inbox and single invoice views. Note that you can also choose not to use the new 'Charitable Fund' code in favour of retaining the 'Department' code via the new set of options in the 'Integrate' page of a live integration with a Sage 50 UK&I charity company.
