­­This article is relating to the error message "The contact specified has possibly been merged (or archived). Xero does not indicate if the contact is merged, therefore AutoEntry cannot know for sure, please contact support@autoentry[dot]com if this contact is not merged." which may appear on your invoices.

This error can mean one of two things:

  • You have archived the supplier/customer contact in Xero
  • You have merged the contact with another contact in Xero

To resolve this, you will need to unpublish the invoice in AutoEntry, reallocate the other instance of this contact in the invoice's dropdown menu and then republish.
