Symptom

The user is receiving the below error message on their company's integration.

Method not found: Void SimplySDK.SDKInstanceManager.CloseDatabase

Applies To

  • Sage 50 Canada users.

Resolution

To clear this error, please do the following:

  1. Open your PC's Task Manager, select 'More details' if it is showing the minimised view.

  2. Click over to the 'Services' tab.

  3. Look for 'Sage Connection Manager' in the list, and there will be a status column showing running or stopped.

  4. Right click on this and click 'Start'.

  5. After this please restart the Sync App.
