Resend an invite to a new user

How to resend an invitation to a user you've added to your AutoEntry company.

After you add a new user, they receive an email with a link that allows them to create their own login.

You can resend an invitation if the user hasn't created an AutoEntry account yet.

📎NOTE: If the user already has an AutoEntry account, they won't receive any invitation to create an account as they've already signed up.

When they log in, the new company will show on their homepage automatically.


Resend an invitation

  1. Access your company homepage.

  2. Access the People section from the left-hand menu.

  3. Check the Status column:

    • If Active, the user already has an account and there’s no option to resend the invitation

    • If Invited, the user hasn't created the account yet, and there’s an option to resend the invitation

  4. Click Resend invitation.

Sign up delay

When the user hasn’t accepted the invitation, the following mention will show in the Signed up column: 30 days to sign up before user will be deleted.

If the user hasn't accepted the invitation within 30 days, AutoEntry will automatically delete the user from the system to comply with GDPR regulations.

AutoEntry will send out two reminder emails to sign up before the 30-day deadline. If the user hasn’t signed up on time, you'll need to resend the invite again to provide them with a new sign-up link.

📎NOTE: With the full enforcement of the EU GDPR regulations, we must be able to justify holding the data of an invitee or client.

For an ongoing customer of AutoEntry, we need your contact details. However, for an invitee who isn’t a customer and hasn't activated their account, AutoEntry can't hold details after 30 days.
