Analysis types in Sage Accounting help you analyse your accounts in more detail. For example, you can monitor costs and assess the profitability of departments in your company, or run an aged debtors report for a specific group of customers.

When your AutoEntry company integrates with Sage Accounting, when you upload an invoice, or view an invoice in your inbox, you can populate these Analysis Types.

  • Cost Centre

  • Department

  • Project

The options you have to choose from are based on whatever you have in the integrated Sage Accounting company.

📎NOTE: To be available in AutoEntry, needs to enable the analysis codes in Sage Accounting first.

  1. Click the Settings.

  2. Click Analysis types.

  3. Edit each analysis type and select Purchase invoices and credit notes.

  4. Click Save changes.

After you publish an invoice, these fields appear on the invoice when you view it in Sage Accounting.

📌TIP: For more information about Analysis Types, view our guide within the Sage Accounting knowledgebase.
