How to Edit or Recode Transactions from the Account Details Report

If you need to edit a transaction, you can dot it from the entry itself, but also from the Account Details Report.

For example, if a transaction is posted to the wrong account, or the reference is incorrect.

  1. Go to Reports > Account Details.

  2. You can either scroll down the list directly or filter any flagged transactions that needed to be reviewed.

    This example shows flagged transactions:

  3. Click over the line and click the pencil icon on the right to edit.

  4. You can edit the account's Details, Reference, Account category, assign an Analysis tag, and deactivate or activate the flag.

  5. Click Save to apply the changes.

📎NOTE: There will be no journal entry - it will update directly the batch it’s contained in.
