If you’re trying to open an Expense that another user uploaded, you'll get the following error message:
Error: Failed to load attachments count
Users (Submitters) can only see Expenses that they've uploaded themselves under their profile. You can't see another Submitter's expenses, even if you have the submitter permission. So it's not possible to share the URL of an Expense document among different users.
📎NOTE: The process in the Expenses folder is different from the Purchases or Sales folder. If you have the permission to access the Purchases folder, you'll see all the documents uploaded by all the users within the company. But with the Expenses folder, you only see your own expenses.
If you need another user to see an Expense, you need to understand the Expenses workflow and set up the correct Expenses permissions.
After uploading an expense, a submitter needs to add the expense to an Expense report first.
The account owner must also assign the approver permission to the relevant users within the company.
A submitter can then submit the expense report to one of the approvers within the company.
The approver can approve the expense which will move to the Purchases folder.
Only then all the users within the company can access the document.
