When you publish an invoice to your accounting software, you may see the error message below.

Invoice XXX has not been published because contact selected does not exist in accounting software (XXX); please review contact and try to publish again.

This error is typically caused by something timing out within your company's integration with your accounting software.

To resolve this error, follow the steps below.

  1. Disconnect your company's integration.

  2. Reconnect your company.

  3. Republish the affected invoices.

Please allow a few minutes for the error to clear, and for the invoice to transfer over to your accounting software.
