When you attempt to restart your Sync App Desktop Service, you may see the error below.
Windows could not stop the AutoEntry.DesktopSync.Service service on Local Computer.
Error 1061: The service cannot accept control messages at this time.
This error occurs when the restart command for your Sync App service times out on your Task Manager.
To clear this error message, follow the steps below.
Open your PC's Task Manager, select More details if it is showing the minimised view, and click on the Processes tab.
Click on OCRex.Desktop.AutoEntry.Client & AutoEntry.Service.
Select End Task on both.
Click on the Services tab and right-click AutoEntry.Desktopsync.Service and select Start.
When you open the Sync App again, the error should no longer occur.
