Change email address for AutoEntry

How to change the email address you use to log in to AutoEntry, and reasons why you aren't able to.

On your User Profile page you can change some of the details you entered when you created your AutoEntry account from scratch on the AutoEntry website or as an invited user:

  • Name

  • Email address

  • Password

So this is where you can change the email address you use to log in if you use an AutoEntry login instead of a Sage account login or Intuit ID login.

📌TIP: If the correct email does not appear after updating, refresh the user interface by exiting and re-entering the list view.

If you registered with the wrong email, sign up again with the correct email using the 'Try for Free' option on AutoEntry's website.

📎NOTE: If you're trying to change the email address so that there is a different billing owner, there is a different process you must follow:


I can't change the email address

The procedure for updating your profile may vary depending on your account type, such as general users, billing accounts, or accounts linked with Sage or Intuit.

If you created your AutoEntry account using a Sage account or Intuit ID, your name and email address will have been pulled directly from this account. This is why you're unable to change the email address within AutoEntry.
