When you attempt to connect a Sage 50 Accounts company on your Sync App and are receiving the below error message.
Connection to the company could not be established. Unable to cast COM object of type 'SageDataObjects.ISDOEngine'. This operation failed because the Query Interface call on the COM component for the interface with IID '{DE4DA901-EEF8-11D0-9E5F-008048AADD4E}' failed due to the following error: No such interface supported (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80004002 (E_NOINTERFACE)).
This error occurs when your Sage 50 Data service is missing. This is most common with Sage 50 Accounts v28 and above.
To resolve the issue, you will need to download the Sage Data service.

Download the data services for the latest version.

Once downloaded and installed, restart your Sync App desktop service.
Attempt to connect your company file via the Sync App again.
