Activate MTD after you set up your AccountsPrep subscription. You need to enable income tax settings before you can access tax reports and submissions.

Before you start
The MTD feature is available to UK customers only
You need to activate AccountsPrep through Sage Client Management
The feature isn't available when you add AccountsPrep as a standalone add-on
Enable MTD
Go to Settings, then select Income Tax.
Review Eligibility, then select Enable Income Tax.
Select Enable Income Tax to confirm.
Review income tax settings
Income Tax categories link to your Chart of Accounts
A message appears if categories are missing
Default settings appear in Record and Transactions settings
Go to the Income Tax Summary to review figures
Use the Income Tax Summary to submit updates and the final declaration
