Sage Data Object is an API layer that allows third-party applications—like AutoEntry - to interact with Sage 50 data.

Installing SDO or a newer version of the SDO component may be required to solve integration errors with AutoEntry.

Ensuring version compatibility between Sage 50 and the installed SDO is essential for successful integration and data access.

  1. Check if you already have SDO component and uninstall if the version is out of date .

  2. Identify Sage 50 Accounts Version:

    • Open Sage 50 Accounts on the affected PC.

    • Navigate to Help > About.

    • Note the version number and bit version (e.g., v30, 64-bit).

  3. Download and install the version of SDO that is compatible with the currently installed version of Sage 50 Accounts.
