Navigate to the company that you want to work on. Once in the company click on Manage Lists on the left of the screen.

For tax codes choose the Tax Code tab, for category codes choose the Categories tab at the top of the page.

Then click upload list.

A pop up window appears with a link to a sample file with the format required for your category/tax code list to upload.

Simply click on 'Select CSV to Upload' to select your list and it will upload to AutoEntry automatically.

Or you can use a set of default codes AutoEntry has provided here.
Codes can also be edited later if required. 

If you are integrated with an accounts package, tax and category codes will need to be pulled through from here. If these are not showing as available, please click the Resync [accounts package] Data button in the top right corner of the Manage Lists screen, or on the Integrate screen.
