Error: "Download has failed"

You can see this error in the AutoEntry Sync App when connecting to Sage 50 Canada.

Symptom

The following error can appear when trying to connect to a Sage 50 Canada company shared via RDA

Error: "Download has failed"


Resolution

  1. In Sage, go to File, Remote Data Access

  2. Pause sharing

  3. Resume sharing

  4. Restart the Sync App

  5. Connect the company via the Sync App

If the above does not allow you to connect, run an internet speed test. If the test reports slow speeds, Sage's knowledge base recommends discontinuing use of Remote Data Access.
