When you log into AutoEntry from Sage for Accountants (SFA), the following menus are available on the left.
Left-hand menus
The Folder icon brings you to the Company's homepage.
The People icon brings you to the User management section. Even though you can already manage users from SFA, you can invite extra users and set up their permissions from within AutoEntry. This will give access to AutoEntry only.
📎NOTE: Only users with the Manage users permission can access this section.
The Activity section allows you to access all files across all folders depending on your permissions. You will see this only if you have access to at least one folder.
The AutoEntry dropdown allows you to go back to Client management within Sage for Accountants, or access another product added to this client. (HR, GoProposal etc.)
Secondary menus
Secondary menus will also appear within the Folder section to configure the company.
This menu is available to the owner or any user with the Company settings permission. This allows you to configure the company defaults, contacts, categories and integrate with an accounting software.
Integrate / AccountsPrep
📎NOTE: If you've added AccountsPrep as a add-on, this will show instead of the Integrate page. (UK users only)
📌TIP: If you plan to integrate, make sure you do so before adding contacts and lists. Contacts and categories will feed in automatically once you integrate and you don't need to create them.
