Error: '0x80070643 - Fatal error during installation'

How to resolve this error when installing the AutoEntry Desktop Sync App.

When you install the AutoEntry Desktop Sync App, the following error below can appear.

One or more issues caused the setup to fail. Please fix the issues and then retry setup. For more information see the log file.

0x80070643 - Fatal error during installation.

This error occurs when your PC either has Antivirus/Firewall software installed on it, or doesn't have .NET Framework 4.8 or above installed.

Before you attempt to install the Sync App again, follow the steps below:

  1. Ensure that your system has .NET Framework 4.8 or above installed.

    📌TIP: We recommend that you run the .NET Framework repair tool. www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30135. Visit Microsoft guides for further help.

  2. If your PC has Antivirus/Firewall software installed, try to disable it temporarily.

    📎NOTE: If you need further help with your PC configuration, you must contact your IT support.

  3. After you’ve completed the previous steps, restart your computer.

  4. Try the installation again. Right-click the installer file and click Run as Administrator.
