Option to change the start-up type of my Sync App is unavailable

An explanation to why the option to change the start-up type of your sync app would be greyed out.

When you're attempting to change the start-up type of your Sync App, the option to do so is greyed out or unavailable.

Startup type greyed out.

This is because you don't have admin access on this PC.

A user who has an admin account on that PC will need to log in and change the start-up type for you.
