You can customise your Chart of Accounts, to add, edit and deactivate your nominal codes.

Access the Chart of Accounts

To access the Chart of Accounts, click the Accounting tab, then click Chart of Accounts.

You can view all the accounts in the All classes tab. Alternatively, click the different tabs for each category to narrow down the view.

Add Account or Add Bank account

You can add new ledgers individually. You can either select Add Account or Add bank account.

Make sure you select the bank account type to avail of the bank features within the product.

📎NOTE: You can't convert a bank account to a standard account or vice versa.

Import accounts

If you need to add several accounts, you can import them all at once via a .csv file. You can also use an import template to amend existing accounts.

Edit an account

You can click the name for any account to amend its name, code, class or tax code.

Change class

Rather than editing accounts individually, you can select multiple accounts and use the Change class button to reclassify them all at once.

Activate or deactivate an account

If you don't need an account but wish to retain it for later use, you can deactivate it.

Delete accounts

If you don't need an account, you can delete it if it has no entries in it.

Export Accounts

To export your Chart of Accounts, click Export. This downloads the Chart of Accounts as an Excel spreadsheet.
