Objective

Everyone is keen on keeping their data or their clients' data protected; some may opt to putting passwords on their .pdfs or zipping their folders. Unfortunately, these type of files cannot be extracted from when uploaded to AutoEntry. This article will provide some information on these file types.

Applies To

  • Users uploading files via email or their web browser.

Procedure

When you are uploading, please ensure that the documents aren't contained within a folder of any type, and are not password protected so our OCR technology can extract the information from the document.

This includes documents uploaded via email.

  • Zip Files - It is not possible to upload Documents in .zip files to AutoEntry.

  • RAR Files - It is not possible to upload Documents in .rar files to AutoEntry.

  • Folders - It is not possible to upload Documents contained in File Folders to AutoEntry.

  • Password Protected .PDFs - these will not process in AutoEntry, please ensure that the .pdf is not password protected prior to uploading to AutoEntry.
