The user is receiving the below error message on their company's integration status, preventing them from publishing invoices to Sage.

Exception of type 'System.Exception' was thrown.

Applies To

  • Sage Accounting users based in Australia or South Africa.


This error is caused by an API request limit set by sage which led to a temporary block on posting invoices.


To clear this error, you will need to unpublish any affected invoices and attempt to publish them again after around 30 minutes.

Additional Information

Publishing in smaller batches not exceeding 100 invoices per minute should prevent this issue.
