Income Tax report shows zero values

Restore missing Income Tax figures when posted transactions show as zero in Sage for Accountants in AccountsPrep.

Some businesses see zero values in the Income Tax report after they post transactions. The Enable Income Tax Reporting button appears at the top of the statement page after you post transactions.

The button doesn't remain there permanently. You can still access it from Cash Sales or Cash Expenses.

While we work on a solution, use the steps below as a workaround.

  1. Go to Accounting, then select one of:

    • Cash Sales

    • Cash Expenses

  2. Select Enable Income Tax Reporting.

  3. Open Reports, then select Income Tax Summary.

  4. Select Go to Income tax summary, then View and send update.

  5. Check that the report shows the posted transaction values.

TIP: If you have unposted transactions, open the Unposted tab, then select Enable Income Tax Reporting.

The screenshot below shows where to find this option.

If the report still shows zero values, contact us.
