If after uploading a document, you can't see it in the inbox of one of your AutoEntry folders, you need to check the Activity folders:
📌TIP: Before you try anything, remember to refresh the page you're viewing in the URL bar.
📎NOTE: This apply to all types of documents, Sales and Purchases Invoices, Suppliers Statements, Bank statements and Expenses. (The Inbox for expenses is called Expenses however)
Activity tab in a folder
To locate the file, the best method is to check the Activity tab within the folder. A document doesn't automatically move to the Inbox after upload. This could be for the following reasons:
The extraction isn’t complete
Check whether the document upload is complete or in progress. You can check the file status in the Uploaded folder.
📌TIP: To check whether a file extraction is in progress, change the status filter from All status to Processing. You will see the files in progress. When processing a message will also show in the Inbox. "Item currently being processed from x uploaded file. Follow progress of your files in the Activity page".
Once the extraction is complete, the status will change to Ready (or Approved for Bank Statements). It will then move to the Inbox, Rejected or Archived folders.
The file extraction is complete
The file status in the Processed Item folder will give you the location of the file. If it's not in the Inbox, it will be either in the Rejected folder, or already Archived.
The file extraction is pending due to insufficient credits
If there isn’t enough credits, the file processing will freeze until you buy more credits. This will show in the Processed Item folder as "credits could not be deducted".
Wrong folder?
If you can't see an invoice within the expected folder, you can also check the main activity menu on the left. This section shows the activity for all the files across all folders. It's possible you uploaded the file in the wrong folder. In that case you can move the invoice to the correct Inbox.
