To increase the security of your AutoEntry account, you can enable 2-step verification from within your User Profile. Once enabled you enter a verification code as well as your email address and password to log in to AutoEntry.

Set up 2FA
Log in to Auto Entry.
Click User to get to your User Profile.
Click the Security tab, and make sure you have security questions set up.
Once you have security questions set up, click the 2-Step verification tab.
The next steps depend on how you want to authenticate.

📎NOTE: Make sure you download and install a mobile authenticator before you continue with these steps. For example, Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator.
Next to Use Mobile Authenticator App, click the toggle to ON.
Enter your current AutoEntry password.
Click Save SMS Changes.
A QR code appears. Open up your authenticator app, scan this QR code.
Enter the verification code provided by the Authenticator app.
Click Save SMS Changes.
Note down your recovery code.
The next time you log in, you now need to enter the code provided by the authenticator app.
If you ever don't have access to your authenticator app, you can use the recovery code.

Next to Use SMS Verification, click the toggle to ON.
Enter your current AutoEntry password.
Enter your phone number.
Click Save SMS Changes.
Enter the verification code sent to that number.
Note down your recovery code.
The next time you log in, you enter the code sent to you by text.
If you ever don't have access to your authenticator app, you can use the recovery code.
Lost your recovery code?
If you don't know what your recovery code is, or you lost it, you can generate a new one.
