Set up AccountsPrep via Sage for Accountants

Integrate AccountsPrep via Sage for Accountants (SFA).

Written by AutoEntry Support Team
Updated this week

AccountsPrep is available in Sage for Accountants through Client Management. After you activate the subscription from the client profile, you can access AccountsPrep and use it with AutoEntry.

📎NOTE: You can sign up to AccountsPrep from AutoEntry as a standalone product. The standalone version doesn't work with Sage for Accountants and doesn't include Making Tax Digital features.

About the integration with AutoEntry

When you subscribe to AccountsPrep from Sage for Accountants:

  • The system creates the company in AccountsPrep

  • The system integrates it with AutoEntry

You need to connect AutoEntry from the client profile. The subscription includes credits to process documents in AutoEntry. You can use both products together and move between the two workspaces.

The AccountsPrep subscription includes AutoEntry credits to process documents for that client.

📎NOTE: If you already use AutoEntry as a standalone product, that account remains separate and can't link.

Feature differences

  • Making Tax Digital (MTD): Only available through Sage for Accountants

Not available in Sage for Accountants

Some standalone AutoEntry pages and settings don't appear when you use Sage for Accountants. Use the equivalent options within Sage for Accountants instead.
