When you create a new VAT code or nominal code in your accounting software, they normally sync into AutoEntry automatically.
If a code doesn't show as expected from the invoice dropdown, check the following:
Visibility
Check the Manage list section to make sure the code has synced into AutoEntry. It's possible the code is actually in AutoEntry but you’ve deactivated it from the dropdown list.
Go to Home> Manage lists.
Select the relevant tab, for example, Vat codes.
Locate the code.
If the code is present, make sure the Visibility toggle is ON.
Refresh
If the code is present and visible in your list, and still not showing in the dropdown, you can try the following:
Refresh the page in your browser
From the dropdown menu, select another code and search the code you need again
Data-Resync
If the code isn’t present in Manage Lists at all, you need to re-sync the data.
To resolve this, re-sync your data.
Allow 5-10 minutes for this to complete. Times can vary depending on the accounts package you integrate with.
What if the re-sync doesn't work?
Disconnect, then reconnect your integration, and then try the re-sync again.
Partial Sync
Some codes may be showing and other not. This suggests you added some data manually before connecting. You can check what data you added manually after you disconnect.
Normally connecting will overwrite the existing data. If it doesn't work, clear the existing data before reconnecting again.
Disconnect the integration.
Delete the codes from the list.
Reconnect.
Re-Sync.
