The Profile section in the top bar menu allows you to modify your personal details within AutoEntry.
Options
The options and tabs available within AutoEntry will depend on the way you set up the account.

📎NOTE: If you’re accessing AutoEntry from Sage for Accountants (SFA), the profile menu will bring you back to the Profile settings within Sage for Accountants. You can manage your Sage Id account and language preferences from Sage instead of AutoEntry.
Profile details
The Profile Details tab allows you to view and edit the following:
Language - You can select English (GB, US, and CA) and French (CA)
📎NOTE: This will change the language in the product's interface. It will also change the default language when contacting support.
First name and Last name (AutoEntry login only)
Email - Change your email address (AutoEntry login only)
📎NOTE: If you originally signed up using a Sage ID or Intuit ID, you can only change the language here.
📌TIP: Sage ID and SFA users, you can change your credentials from the Sage Id account management page: account.sso.sage.com.
Password
This is where you can change your password when already logged in, rather than using the forgot password option.

Change password
Enter your current password.
Enter a new password using all the required criteria.
Enter your new password again to confirm.
Click Save Changes.
When the password successfully changes, a notification banner across the top of the page appears to confirm it.
📎NOTE: If you originally signed up using a Sage ID or Intuit ID. This allows you to create a password to access the Desktop Sync App.
To change your Sage ID credentials and authentication, you need to manage this from your Sage ID account: account.sso.sage.com
Security
This is where you can add security questions to verify your account when contacting support. If you already have them, click Replace to change them.
You can add four questions.
Click Save Changes once you've picked them and entered an answer.
📎NOTE: You need to create security questions before you can set up two-Step Verification.
Two-Step Verification
This is where you can set up two-step verification for your AutoEntry login, also known as multi-factor or two-factor authentication.
📎NOTE: Multi-factor authentication is now a requirement for users integrating with Xero, effective from December 2025.
