AutoEntry releases regular updates for the Desktop Sync App to help integrate AutoEntry with Sage 50 and QuickBooks Desktop.
When a Sync App update occurs, it should automatically update on the PC or server it is installed on, however, you can update it manually by following the steps below.
📎NOTE: If you use Sage 50 Accounts, and have updated to v31 and above, you must make sure you're on the latest version of the Sync App for the integration to work.
How do I check if my Sync App is up to date?
The latest version is 2.0.151.0
You can see what version your Sync App is at the top when you open the Sync App. If you need to update the Sync App manually, follow the steps below.
How do I update the Sync App manually?
Go to the PC that has the Sync App installed. This should be on the same computer or machine as your Sage 50 Accounts or QuickBooks Desktop company file.
Open your File Explorer (this is pre-installed on every PC), paste in the path C:\Program Files (x86)\OCREX\AutoEntry, and hit Enter on your keyboard.
Double-click the wyUpdate.exe file and click Run to update.
If you receive a pop-up during the update to prompt you to close any process, click Close All Processes.
