You are seeing the below error message on your sync app, or company's integration status.

Started Interactive process exe but its remoting server did not respond/ start within 15 seconds.

Applies To

  • Sage 50 users.

  • QuickBooks Desktop users.


This error is typically thrown when your Desktop Sync Interactive Launcher has not been enabled.


To clear this error, you will need to do the following:

  1. Open your File Explorer (this is a pre-installed app on every PC)

  2. Navigate to the path C:\Program Files (x86)\OCREX\AutoEntry\Service

  3. Double-click on AutoEntry.Desktopsync.interactivelauncher.exe

  4. Select 'Allow'

  5. Go to your company on the AutoEntry website, and re-sync its data.
