You are seeing the below error message on your Sync App while trying to connect a company to Sage 50.
failed reading company list for accounts package: Please select the file location of the company you are trying to connect to
Sage 50 users.
AutoEntry Desktop Sync App.
This error typically appears when the Folder Path field on the Sync App is not fully populated with the correct company filepath.
To clear the error, please do the following:
Click the 'x' at the top right of the alert window to close it.
Ensure the 'Company not shown. Click here to select Manually' box is ticked.
Enter the company's filepath into the 'Folder Path' field, located just to the right of the 'Browse for folder' window. You can find the Sage 50 UK&I filepath by following the steps here. Sage 50 Canada users can follow the steps here.
Once the filepath is entered, you can click 'Connect to AutoEntry'.
