Sage for Accountants (SFA) users can invite their clients or colleagues in two different ways. Set up one or the other depending on the user's profile. We recommend use the AutoEntry access for clients, and SFA access for colleagues.
Access via Sage (app.sbc.sage.com)
This method will give access to both Client Management and AutoEntry. The user will need to connect to Sage for Accountant first then launch the product from the client's profile in Client Management.
You can set up access to all or specific companies, but this option is best if you need to invite colleagues within the practice.
Access via AutoEntry (data.autoentry.com)
If access to Sage for Accountant or Client management isn’t necessary, it's possible to invite the user from within AutoEntry. The user can then access the company from autoentry.com.
This option is best if you need to invite clients to manage their own data.
When setting up the client's access, you need to select the "Single Company" option and select the client's name.
This method is also possible for the practice where you can give access to "all companies". This allows practice users to see the client's list from within AutoEntry.
📎NOTE : You can't invite a user to AutoEntry who is already a user in SFA. If you do, you'll get the following error: You cannot invite this user to your account.

When you login via Sage for Accountants, you access the company's homepage directly. (Folder icon). You don't see a company's list within AutoEntry workspace. This is because you manage the clients' list from Client Management instead.
When you login via AutoEntry.com, you access the company list first (Home icon), then click on the company to access the company's homepage.
Whatever the method used to login, because the account is integrated with Sage, you won't see the settings section and you can't manage the subscription from within AutoEntry.
