AutoEntry by Sage

Your Auto Entry's Sync App for Sage 50 or Quickbooks Desktop is either a <a href="http://help.autoentry.com/en/articles/3026779-what-s-the-difference-between-a-console-or-service-application-for-the-sync-app">Service or Console Application</a>.

If you're not sure what yours is, it's easy to check.

Select the Services tab at the top and then click on Open Services at the bottom of that window.

Find AutoEntry.DesktopSync.Service in this new window.

1. Open your PC's Task Manager.
2. Select the Services tab at the top and then click on Open Services at the bottom of that window.
3. Find AutoEntry.DesktopSync.Service in this new window.

If the start-up type shown here says Automatic, it is a Service Application.

If the start-up type shown here says Disabled, it is a Console Application
