When trying to connect to a company with the Sync App, the following error may occur:
Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {966F2F86-3663-4D34-9AFE-06A255594BCF} failed due to the following error: 80070005 Access is denied. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070005 (E_ACCESSDENIED)).'
To clear this error message, follow the resolution steps below. If this doesn't work, try the alternatives.
Resolution
1 - End the process and restart the services from your Task Manager.
2 - Disconnect and reconnect the company via the Sync App.
3- Resync the data.
If the issue persists
If reconnecting is unsuccessful, open the Sage application while you try reconnecting from the Sync App again.
If the issue still persists, install Sage SDO and then reconnect the company.
