When trying to connect to a company with the Sync App, the following error may occur:
Connection to the company could not be established. Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {.} failed due to the following error: 80040154 Class not registered (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80040154 (REGDB_E_CLASSNOTREG)).
Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {.} failed due to the following error: 80070005 Access is denied. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070005 (E_ACCESSDENIED)).
To clear this error message, follow the resolution steps below. If this doesn't work, try the alternatives.
Resolution
Go to the PC that has the AutoEntry Desktop Sync App installed on it.
Restart your sync app desktop service.
Disconnect and reconnect the company.
Ensure you’re able to view your company list on the Sync App.

Try any of the following:
Open the Sage application while you try reconnecting from the Sync App again
Update the Sync App to the latest version
Install Sage SDO, restart the PC, then reconnect the company
