After you upload your document, it will show in the Activity tab under the Uploaded folder. The extraction process will show a different status until its "Ready".
See below the different processing status and expected timeframes.
Queued for Processing
After you upload a file, the status will show as 'Queued for Processing' on the Activity screen.
This means the upload was successful and the processing will begin shortly. There’s no action required at this stage.
Processing
Once the document extraction starts, the status will show as "Processing". The processing time will vary depending on the type of documents and various factors.
Expected time
Invoices, Expenses and Supplier statements
AutoEntry processes 80% of all Purchases/Bills, Sales Invoices, Expenses and Supplier statements within 10 to 120 minutes.
Bank statements
AutoEntry processes 80% of Bank statements within 30 to 240 minutes.
📎NOTE: While processing times can vary, most documents are ready toward the lower end of these time ranges. (within 10 minutes for invoices and 30 for bank statements)
Factors impacting processing time
The following factors will impact the processing time:
File size (larger files take longer to process)
Scan quality (poorly scanned documents slow down recognition)
📌TIP: See our Recommended Scanner Settings and Pen Marks and Handwriting on Documents articles to ensure the best turnaround times possible.
Server load (high volumes of concurrent uploads) can significantly affect processing times
Larger batch uploads can take longer than 24 hours to process.
Excel or Word documents can take up to 24 hours.
When to contact support
If your document is still in 'processing' status after the expected timeframe, remember to check the status page first.
If there’s no known issue, contact our Customer Support team.
It’s recommended to wait up to 24 hours before contacting support as most files will complete processing within that time.
Credits yet to be deducted
This message means that your file is in the final stage of processing, where the system is checking your balance before deducting credits.
This typically only takes a few minutes, and the files will then transfer automatically to your Inbox.
Credits couldn’t be deducted
If there isn’t enough credit, the file won't release the file to the Inbox. You'll need to purchase credits or contact support to cancel the file.
