Objective

If you are integrating your AutoEntry company with Sage 50 or QuickBooks Desktop, the first step would be to install the Desktop Sync App. At times however, some users find that they, or another colleague with access to the same PC, may have already completed this step!

This article will show you how to check if the AutoEntry Desktop Sync App is already installed on your PC.

Applies To

  • Sage 50 UK&I users

  • Sage 50 Canada users

  • Sage 50 US users

  • QuickBooks Desktop users

Procedure

Here are the steps you will need to follow:

  1. Click on the search box on your taskbar and search for Control Panel.

  2. Select Programs > Programs and Features.

  3. From the list of programs, look through to find 'AutoEntry Desktop Sync' (Note that there should be two icons as shown below - both will be present if the Sync App has been successfully installed on the PC). If it is installed, you can open the app and continue with the next step of your integration!
